Palette

Mostly used white, light gray, beige, and brown shades: they fill the space with light.

To create a harmonious interior in the style of minimalism, designers use only two or three basic shades.

White continues to be a favorite color. It can be effectively diluted with black surfaces, graphic gray, or vibrant accents.

Lighting

Much attention is paid to natural light. Large, unshaded windows are a great way to create spacious airspace.

In extreme cases, use horizontal or vertical window blinds.

Speaking of artificial lighting, it is desirable that the light sources are hidden. Spotlights, multi-level illuminated ceilings, etc. will come to the rescue. It is possible to use concise lamps, floor lamps, or chandeliers of simple geometric shapes.

Refusing of unnecessary decor is one of the main features of the style. There is no place for statuettes, pillows, and other cute trinkets in it, on which the gaze involuntarily stops. The exception is two or three concise objects and paintings of the corresponding style in a simple framework.

Today minimalism is rather a philosophy, a worldview. Fleeing the accelerating pace of life,

modern man seeks to create an uncluttered bright space full of calm and harmony.

The minimalist-style interior copes with this task perfectly.
